So often people tell me that they couldn’t lead a “natural” or “holistic” life because it is too extreme or too difficult and they don’t have the time. The most important thing I have come to learn is that in life it doesn’t have to be “all or nothing” in order to experience the benefits of something. Small changes and baby steps can both create big, positive results. When I began living in ways that supported a limit free life I started with one or two simple changes. As I saw the results of those changes I began to build a momentum that led me to try other changes and it kept building in that way. If I had believed that I had to do everything all at once I know that I would have felt completely intimidated and overwhelmed and instead rationalized why it would be better to stay with my old habits and lifestyle.
What is most important to you right now? Is it exercise, nutrition, stress reduction, improving your general health? Pick ONE area and decide on one or two changes that you could commit to making that would bring you in the direction of your desired goal in that part of your life. Follow through with that commitment and observe the result it has in your life. That small act will start to create an energy shift for yourself that can be the opening to your limit free life. It’s that simple!!!
